Happy Birthday Tara

Tara Russell

            I just love Tara…She is one of the strongest, most spiritual young women that I know.  She has always been a person that I have looked up to and admired.  I have known the Russell Family for since Tara was very young and they have all been a wonderful example to me and Tara is no exception to that.  I know that Tara and her family have been great examples to many other people also.

            Tara's Birthday is June 4 and she turned 20.

            Tara has been attending Salt Lake Community College and is majoring in Criminal Justice.  She is also working for Sandy City as a Recreation Sport Supervisor. 

            Tara loves eating anything that is grilled, spaghetti and pretty much anything else.

She loves anything chocolate and Almond Joys and 3 Musketeers…and…her favorite restaurant is Olive Garden.  She loves reading anything that is fantasy, her favorite movie is "Lion King" and her favorite TV Show is "The Office".    She was able to give us a favorite song…says there are too many to choose, but her favorite music group is "The Cadillacs".  Good choice…If you have not had the chance to listen to this group you really need to find the opportunity to do so.  It is rumored that Tara is very close to one of the members of this group and obviously very proud of him…How fun to have your dad be a part of something so fun and to bring this kind of music into your life.  I have to admit, Tara, that I too am a big fan. 

            Tara's favorite date is "just hangin' out".  She loves reading, camping, hanging out with her friends, watching movies and soccer.  Although she loves soccer, she enjoys playing most any sport. 

            Everyone loves Tara…here are some of the things that our class had to say about her.

Happy Birthday Clayton

Clayton Russell

I have watched the Russell Family grown and have been in awe at what a great, spiritual family they are and Clayton is a part of that greatness.  He is one of the most spiritual…and just ‘got it together’ young men that I know. 

            Clayton is a senior at Jordan High School and turns 18 May 19 which is today.  As a senior he is able to attend the YSA Class and how blessed we are that he has chosen to do so.  Not only is he a full time student, but he also works at Eclipse Composites Engineering and Lift House Ski Shop.

            Claytons favorite food is ‘Meat’…he doesn’t give any specific kind…just meat and his favorite restaurant is Fusi Sushi and Steakhouse.  He loves Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate.  His favorite book is “Walking Drum” by Louis Lamour, his favorite TV Show is “The Office”, his favorite Music Group is “Reel Big Fish” and his favorite Song is “Average Man” by Reel Big Fish.  Clayton loves almost any action movie…

            If Clayton were to ask you out….he just might ask you to go skiing as he has stated that that is his favorite place to take a date.  He loves Fly Fishing, Skiing, Lacrosse, Rugby, Rock Climbing, Hiking and pretty much any sport.

            Clayton is an amazing kid and the class had lots of great things to say about him.  Here are some of the feelings they shared about him.

            I don’t think this leaves much question as to what kind of Young Man Clayton Russell.  I think we are all blessed to have him be a part of our lives.

Happy Birthday Caitlin

Caitlin Bellon

            Caitlin has been know to spell her name numerous ways…she had me very confused at Girl's Camp the first year that we went because every paper she turned in had her name spelled a different way.  I finally had to ask her mother which was the correct way…and it was…"CAITLIN".  And that is a very good way.

            One of my favorite things about going to camp was to get the know Caitlin.  She is one of the sweetest…most fun girls that I know.  I love to call her 'hun'.  She makes fun of me for doing so…but I know deep down she must love it.

            Caitlin was born on May 12, 1992…what bright sunny day that must have been.

She had intended to start school at SLCC in January…but got a new boyfriend instead.

She was working as a cashier at Officemax, but is currently looking for a new job…so if anyone hears of any great and outstanding jobs…be sure to give her a call.

            Her favorite food is Teriyaki Chicken, her favorite dessert is Reeses Peanut Butter Pieces and her favorite candy is Reeses Fastbreak and Baby Ruth Candy Bars.

            If you are looking for somewhere to take Caitlin you might try 'Spoon Me', 'Red Robin', 'Mimi's Café' or 'Zupas'.  All great choices.  After eating…or maybe before…you might take her to a cornmaze or bowling…because she has said that these are two of her favorite dates to go on.

            One of  things that Caitlin loves to do is read and her favorite book is "

Glory Road

".  I think, however, unless she has really changed, sports comes a little ahead of reading.    She loves watching or going to any sports event…basketball, football…pretty much any sport.  

            Some of her favorite movies are: "More Than a Game", "Glory Road", "Miracle" and "Remember the Titans" and her favorite TV shows are anything on ESPN…but especially Jazz games and BYU games and she likes to watch  "Ghost Adventures".  

            Caitlin's favorite song is "Live Like You Believe" by Jenny Phillips.  She also likes Ryan Shupe & the Rubberband" (Hey…they are coming to Sandy Amphitheater this summer someone better let David know).

            Caitlin also enjoys hanging out with her friends and being involved with Institute Council.

            Caitlin is loved by everyone.  Here are some of the things the class had to say about her:

Happy Birthday Tyler

Tyler Engstrom

Tyler seams like a quiet, pleasant kind of guy.  He is very polite and seems to be rather humble.  He was born on May 4, 1990…which means that his birthday is today…and it is the big '21'…So Happy Birthday is in order.

Tyler is attending Salt Lake Community College and is Pharmaceutical major.

He works as a Pharmacy Technician at Target Pharmacy.

It would seem that Tyler is a guy that would be easy to please…as he likes pretty much everything.  His favorite food is steak and his favorite restaurant is Texas Roadhouse…good choice.  That is one of mine and Craig's favorites.

His favorite candy is a Butterfinger…and he like anything for dessert…like I said…easy to please.

He says he doesn't read much…I would guess he is talking about casual reading…I can't imagine that he is studing Pharmaceutical Chemistries and not reading.

When asked about favorites he responded that he likes too many movies, too many TV Shows, too many songs and too many music groups to name…so if you are considering what to get this guy…I would say almost anything.

He loves outdoor, any sport, camping fishing and basketball.

When we asked the Young Single Adults to share something about Tyler this is what we got:

Happy Birthday Carly!

Carly Fisco

Carly is one of the cutest and sweetest girls I know.

I first met her at Girl's Camp right after she moved into our ward…I think 4 years ago.

I remember how sweet and kind she was to everyone, and that is how she always is.

Carly turned 19 years old today and attended her first Women's Conference at BYU with her mother.  What a joy it was when she stopped by the bookstore to say Hello to me…Made my day!

Carly has been attending Utah Valley University full time and is majoring in Behavioral Science.  She lived in Orem for a while with Hannah Bench and then they both decided to move back home.

She works at Utah Barricade with her Mother and then through the summer she is working on the weekends with her uncle.

Carly loves any home cooked good…says it's yummy!!!.  She loves any dessert which includes fruit and her favorite candy it Zots!!!  She says that is the best candy ever.

Her favorite restaurant is Zupas…Good choice…I love that place. 

Carly's favorite book is the Book of Mormon, which shows us what kind of a wonderful girl she is.  Her favorite movie is "Italian Job" and her favorite TV show is "Myth Busters".  She loves what ever music group is on the radio and her favorite song is "The Armies of Helaman". 

When asked what her favorite thing to do on a date was she said 'anything in the

mountains and playing sports.   She loves running, soft ball, football and about any kind sport.  She also loves reading and spending time with her family. 

As an observer….I would say that she is pretty close to being the best daughter and friend anyone could ask for.

When the other YSAs were asked what they thought of Carly, we got these comments:

"She's a female and smart"…my guess is that this came from a guy of few words.

"Carly is a great example!"

"She is a ray of sunshine."

"She is bubbly and always has a smile on."

"She likes to go running and listens to country music."

"Carly is one of the sweetest girls I have ever met and has a very warm heart."

"Sweet girl!  Always so much fun to be around and has such a sweet spirit.  She really is a good example and a wonderful friend."

"Carly is the nicest, sweetest, cutest girl."

She truly is a joy to have in our Young Single Adult Group.  How lucky we all are to have her as our friend!

Happy Birthday Sione

Sione is a fun guy to have in class.  He always sits in the same place…right back corner.

Yet it is noticed if he is not with us.  He has such a pleasant, quiet personality and is

definatly an asset to our group.

Sione was born on April 18, 1991 and turns 20 today!!!

Sione is planning on going to school in the medical field, but for right now he is working Monday through Friday selling internet sites.

Sione says his favorite foods are Pizza, Italian and Greek Food…but says he is not picky.

His favorite restaurants are Joy Luck, Charlie Chows and Benihanas.  He likes any deseret but is not really big on candy…Lucky…how I wish I weren't.  He says that if he had to choose a favorite candy it would be snickers or twix. 

Sione doesn't watch much TV but likes horror, comedy and action movies.

He likes rap, hip-hop, oldies and reggae music…lifting weights and making music.

His favorite sports are football and rugby and he enjoys 'chillaxin' with his friends.

We asked Sione what his favorite date was and his reply was that he has not been on one yet…so ladies we have some work to do here.

Happy Birthday Camille

Camille Bellon

Pick out Camille in this picture of her Primary Class???

I remember Camille when she was just a very young girl.  She was in Craig's Sunday School Class and I think she was his favorite student because he used to talk about her and how spiritual and smart she was all the time.    She is still very spiritual and still very smart…but no longer a little girl. 

Camille was born on January 19, 1989. 

She is 'kinda' going to school part time at SLCC and is a part time manager at CJ Banks

Camille's favorite food is Alfredo.  Like I said…Camille is still very smart…and she has good taste…because Alfredo is the best!  

She loves anything chocolate and Milky Ways are her favorite candy bar.

You may find Camille frequenting Mimi's Café or California Pizza Kitchen…as these are her two favorite restaurants. I must say that I wouldn't recommend  trying to get a date with her by asking her to either of these restaurants as her current boyfriend looks pretty tough.

Her favorite place to go on a date is to the zoo.

She loves reading and baking, playing volleyball, watching football, going out with friends and sleeping.

We are so blessed that Camille decided to leave the singles branch and come back to her home ward to be with us…We all love you!
